DIY "Hologram clutch"

Like I told you in my last post here I've spend most of my weekend inside home DIY-ing.  One of the things I made is this hologram clutch. I'm really into the hologram trend right now so I decided to make on myself.

What do you need?

- hologram fabric (it's pretty hard to find, search between the    
  dancing fabrics)

- transparant sheets

- sewing machine

- scissors

- cutting machine (optional)

- paper

- ruler

- thread

- paper

- tape
- pins
- (chalk) pencil

Make a pattern out of paper and place it on your material. Draw it slightly on your fabric (2) and tape the lines on your sheet (1). It's also a good idea to tape the sheets together to avoid slipping.

Sew the fabric along the lines and turn it inside out. Sew the sheets along the tape (1) and cut the remaining parts with the cutting machine or scissors (3).

Place the zipper along the top of your fabric and fold the fabric to get a nice finish (4).

And this is the end result. I'm actually very pleased with it and I love the colors on the fabric (all though you can't see them that great on the photos). Love to hear your thoughts and are you into the hologram trend? Happy wednesday!
